    Good evening,

I am looking for a creative writing workshop for my son aged 12, in the London area. He is very motivated and often uses his free time to write fiction. (He is in a scholarship class). Can you offer him anything in a group workshop, preferably with early teenagers? He will be on holiday and available during the following periods:- (a)15th to 19th February, (b) 21st March to 1st April, and (c)11th to 15th April.

I will also be looking for courses during the summer holidays- (d) 11th-29th July, and (e) 15th August – 2nd Sept.

I do hope you can help us. However, in the event that you are unable to offer something, I would be most grateful if you could point me at any other organisations in London

    yours sincerely

    Laure Platford

      Hello Laure,

thank you for your enquiry. I haven’t come across too many creative writing opportunities for young people of your sons age. However, you should definitely check out the following organisations online and\or give them a ring to see what they have to offer.

Royal Court Theatre – Young Court and Beyond the Court initiative; The Tricycle Theatre; Battersea Arts Centre and Theatre Peckham.

Hope this helps and good luck with your search.
